This miso is also known in Japan as “dengaku miso”, named after the traditional dish dengaku, where vegetables or tofu are grilled and served with a sweet miso glaze.
Goma miso brings a sense of simplicity and comfort to everything it touches.

We take the time to gently toast our sesame seeds before adding mirin, sesame oil and, importantly, maple syrup. As it slowly caramelizes, the maple syrup enhances the natural sweetness of the miso.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
Best Before Date: 12 months.
After opening, keep refrigerated.
